Job Description
Overview:
As an International Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and expanding business opportunities in international markets. Your primary objective will be to identify business partners and distributors, generate business leads, drive revenue growth and market expansion by establishing and nurturing relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders across various regions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential markets, trends, and opportunities for expansion.
• Business Strategy: Develop comprehensive business strategies and plans to penetrate new markets and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
• Client Acquisition: Identify and target potential clients and partners through proactive outreach and networking activities. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to secure new business opportunities.
• Proposal Development: Lead the development and preparation of proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients. Customize solutions to meet client needs and effectively communicate value propositions.
• Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts, agreements, and partnerships. Ensure favorable outcomes while adhering to company policies and objectives.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and operations, to align strategies and initiatives with business objectives.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities. Develop actionable insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement and achieve sales targets.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with international business activities.
• Travel and Relationship Management: Travel internationally as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Relations, or related field.
• Proven track record of success in international business development, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of international markets, business trends, and cultural nuances.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including CRM systems, Microsoft Office suite, and market research databases.
• Fluency in English language is a must.
