Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vendor Sourcing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and establishing relationships with vendors to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality products. This role requires a deep understanding of international trade, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple vendor relationships simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

1.⁠ ⁠Vendor Identification and Evaluation:
– Research and identify potential vendors and suppliers in international markets.
– Evaluate vendor capabilities, reliability, and competitiveness.
– Conduct due diligence to ensure compliance with company standards and international trade regulations.

2.⁠ ⁠Negotiation and Contract Management:
– Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with vendors to secure the best possible deals.
– Develop and maintain vendor contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are clearly defined and adhered to.

3.⁠ ⁠Relationship Management:
– Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential vendors.
– Address and resolve any issues or disputes with vendors in a timely and professional manner.

4.⁠ ⁠Market Analysis and Strategy:
– Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and industry developments.
– Develop and implement sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supply chain efficiency.

5.⁠ ⁠Documentation and Compliance:
– Ensure all import/export documentation is accurate and complies with regulatory requirements.
– Monitor and manage customs processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
6.⁠ ⁠Collaboration:
– Work closely with the logistics, procurement, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless operations.
– Provide regular updates and reports to management on vendor performance and sourcing activities.

Qualifications:

•⁠ ⁠Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field.
•⁠ ⁠Minimum of 15 years of experience in vendor sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the import/export trading industry.
•⁠ ⁠Strong understanding of international trade regulations and customs processes.
•⁠ ⁠Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•⁠ ⁠Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sourcing strategies.
•⁠ ⁠Proficiency in using sourcing and procurement software.
•⁠ ⁠Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•⁠ ⁠Fluency in English is a plus.
